Grade 5 — Solve equations that involve one operation and whole numbers, and verify the solution.
A note on this mapping: Grade 6 is already past this skill: its C2.3 asks for equations with multiple terms, so "one step" sits at Grades 4–5 in Ontario rather than at Grade 6.
