Help and contact
Most things a player needs are inside the game. The rest is one address.
Write to us
[email protected] reaches the people who run Math Vale. A reply usually comes within a few days.
Say which username the question is about and what you saw, with a screenshot if you have one. Never send a password: nobody here will ask for one, and nobody here can read the one you set.
If you are a parent or a teacher, say so. A question about a child’s account or a child’s privacy is always a reasonable question, and it goes to the front.
Things the game does on its own
- Someone on the map is bothering you. Tap them and choose Block — they vanish from your map and you from theirs — or Report, which blocks them at once and tells us why in one of three fixed reasons. Characters marked “Traveller” are part of the game, not other players.
- A forgotten password. There is no email address on file, so there is no reset link. A parent or teacher who set the account up can make a new one; otherwise write to us with the username and we will sort it out.
- Deleting an account. On the web it is at the bottom of the character sheet, and in the apps it is the last thing in Settings. It asks for the password and then removes everything, at once and for good. What is kept and for how long is on the privacy page.
- A wrong answer marked right, or a right one marked wrong. Tell us the skill and, if you can, the question word for word. Every problem is generated from a seed, so we can rebuild the exact one you saw.
The apps
The iOS and Android apps talk to this same server and hold the same account, so anything you do on one shows up on the others. If an app cannot sign in, check that the web site opens first; if the site is up and the app still cannot, write to us with the app version from its Settings sheet.
